Erin Ronstadt practices exclusively in the areas of employee and private long-term disability benefits, which includes disability benefits governed by The Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), the Arizona State Retirement System (“ASRS”), and other private disability claims governed by State law. Erin routinely represents clients against the major insurance companies, both at the internal appeals phase and in litigation. She also assists clients with proof-of-loss matters, claims interviews, and ongoing claims management.
Erin earned her law degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, graduating with Highest Pro Bono Distinction and receiving a Dean’s Award for Most Outstanding Graduate. She graduated from Arizona State University cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a certificate in Public Administration. She has held several leadership positions and interned with the Honorable Lawrence O. Anderson, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the State of Arizona, as well as the Honorable Jon W. Thompson, Arizona Court of Appeals, Division I. Before joining Ober & Pekas, Erin was the founder and managing partner of Ronstadt Law, P.L.L.C. She was honored to receive the 2012-2013 Hal Israel Community Service Award from the State Bar of Arizona.
Erin is licensed to practice law in Arizona and is admitted to the United States District Court and United States Court of Appeals. She spends quality time with her clients, personally managing each case from beginning to end. Through her experiences, Erin has come to understand the importance of compassionate but aggressive advocacy and superior client service.
